FAMILIES were all at sea at Frampton on Severn Sailing Club, the beautiful weather attracted hundreds of first timers to take to the water.
The Push the Boat Out event was an open day held by the club on May 17 which gave everyone the opportunity to take the reins of a dinghy with the aid of a qualified instructor.
The open day saw 88 families come down, with 340 trips dinghy trips made.
FOSSC Commodore Ian Cook said: āIām very pleased. We had perfect sailing conditions, and a lot of people wanted to join the club or attend some instructional sessions.ā
Another open day will be held in September.
