THE family of the two children injured in Thursday's accident at the junction of Middle Hill and Burcombe Road in Chalford have thanked all involved in helping at the scene.

In a message posted on the SNJ website yesterday, Sunday, a family member called The Lury's said:

"Can I thank everyone involved with this accident.

"Gabriel and Noah are my nephews and are making slow but steady progress at Bristol Children's Hospital.

"Spent the day between bedsides and Noah although in a full leg cast with a broken leg is much brighter today.

"Gabe has been fairly out of it but today had couple of long periods of wakefulness and awareness. Slow progress in our eyes but docters all very hopefully of full recovery.

"We thank you all so much. A traumatic time for you and us."
