FORMER employees of Stroud company Townsends are invited to a 30 year reunion celebration this week.
Townsends, later to become Rank Hovis McDougall and then Dalgety, used to occupy the Tesco site in Stratford Road, but closed in 1984.
Former colleagues have arranged a reunion to mark 30 years since the closure at Stroud Rugby Club at 7.30pm on Friday, May 30.
The event will be completely free of charge, as the music and food has been kindly donated, however there will be a collection for the Cotswold Care Hospice.
Anyone who worked for Townsends, RHM or Dalgety is very welcome to attend.
