Police have released an  e-fit of the man they are looking for in connection with a lewd act committed in Tetbury.

The incident happened in the graveyard of St Mary’s Church in Bath Road, Tetbury, at 2 pm on Monday, May 19.

The victim initially saw a lady with a spaniel fleeing from a man with a small dog resembling a terrier and on a lead.

Some 20 minutes later, while sitting on a churchyard bench, the victim was approached by the same man who exposed himself to her as he walked past.

At this time he was no longer accompanied by his dog.

The man left via the main exit and disappeared.

He is described as a white male, in his early 60’s, 6ft 1 or 2 inches tall, with thin rimmed glasses, short grey or white unkempt hair, a grey beard, wearing dark green chino trousers, a royal blue chino style long sleeved shirt, with the sleeves rolled up.

It is believed he may be a regular dog walker since he appeared to be familiar with the area.
