A FOOTBALL club has challenged the public to a penalty shootout with the goal of raising money for a local charity.

Gloucester City FC will bring players to the Gloucestershire Motor Show on Saturday June 7 and Sunday June 8 to compete in the inflatable penalty shootout, to raise money for children’s charity Pied Piper.

The fifth annual motor show will be staged in the grounds of Highnam Court, near Gloucester and will also hold a celebrity cook-off featuring former rugby star Phil Vickery.

Prospect Training Services, who sponsor the Tigers organised the shootout.

Ewan Saunders, business development manager at Prospect, said: “The players are happy to support the event, and will be in attendance all day on both days. We look forward to seeing everyone there.”

Show tickets cost £7.50 for adults and £3.50 for children. For more details visit www.gloucestershiremotorshow.co.uk
