TO commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Normandy D-Day landings the Painswick Centre is taking people back to war time Britain.

The centre in Bisley Street, Painswick is hosting a 1940s evening between 7pm and 12am on Friday, June 6 – the same date as D-Day.

Traditional ration style food will be served and entertainment will be provided by the five-piece swing band, ‘Fat boy Swing’ - the dress code is the 1940s.

Tickets available from the Painswick Centre. For more information contact jennie@painswickcentre.com or call 01452 814569.
