POLICE are trying to trace three men in connection with two break-ins at an industrial estate in Cirencester.

Thieves forced open windows to gain access to each of the premises at the Global Business Park in Wilkinson Road, late on Wednesday, May 28.

In one incident, a white Fiat recovery van, log book and keys were stolen from a car breakdown company, along with several hundred pounds worth of tools.

In the second incident, money was taken from a cash box at a mat-making firm in a neighbouring unit.

Three men were seen walking about in the area at 11.35pm on Wednesday night. They were wearing high-visibility vests, baseball caps and hooded tops with the hoods up. Police believe they are responsible for both burglaries.

The stolen van was later identified heading towards Birmingham on the M5 in the early hours of Thursday.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 143 of 29/5/14.
