A RECRUITMENT company is providing workshops to help professional women feel confident about returning to work after having children.
The Stroud-based Flexible Resource Company specialises in finding part-time work for professionals ranging from accountants to marketeers who actively want to find rewarding roles at local firms, but on reduced hours.
Whilst there are many types of individuals looking for part-time and reduced hours work, mothers returning to a professional career after having children make up a large proportion of those registered.
Company director Tracey Adams introduced the workshops at the King's Head Pub in King's Stanley after returning to work after having children.
“I had been quite comfortable in my career however, after just a two-year break to have my children, I was petrified about returning to work.
"I was lucky however, in that I found a supportive and flexible employer that enabled me to build my confidence up again and I hope my workshops show women they have many new and positive qualities to add to their resumes now they are a mother.”
