Are you looking after a relative, neighbour or friend?
POSITIVE Caring programmes providing free information and support sessions start up in Cheltenham next month (June).
The programme includes six sessions specifically for carers who look after an adult with a learning disability.
The course starts on Friday 20th June and will take place each Friday until 25th July, at Sherborne Room, Municipal Offices, The Promenade Cheltenham, GL50 9SA.
Six sessions for carers will also run from Wednesday 16th July and run each Wednesday until 20th August.
The course will be held at Abbey Fields Community Centre, Back Lane, Winchcombe, GL54 5QH.
All sessions are free and will run from 2pm - 4.30pm.
Weekly sessions will focus on different aspects of the caring role such as how to access services, the day-to-day life of a care, how to look after yourself and juggling caring with other responsibilities.
