NEW owners of Minchinhampton’s Crown Inn are making some big changes the village pub, which will re-open in late summer.
Property developer Daniel Andrews, 34, recently took charge of the premises alongside partner Louise Taylor, 40, and said a refurbishment is needed.
“No work has been done on the place for the last 10-20 years, so it’s time for change” said Mr Andrews of Longfords Mill, Minchinhampton.
Mr Andrews, a lifelong Minchinhampton resident, said he has had “no real problems” in acquiring the property and plans to turn the pub into a premesis “based on community” serving more local ales and building a new function room. The pair plan to re-open the Crown Inn from late August to early September.
