CREATIVE Stroud student Pamela Varela, 23, wowed audiences at London's Graduate Fashion Week with her cutting edge designs.
It was estimated 25,000 people attended the festival which took place Saturday, May 31 to Monday, June 2, and helped launch the careers of many British designers including Stella McCartney and Julian MacDonald.
Pamela, who studies Fashion and Textiles at University of West London, said: “I worked on this collection all year. This involved design work, printing on fabrics, knitting, pattern cutting, making the garments and styling. One day I hope to start my own business focusing on sustainability and ethical fashion.”
