A TEENAGER has died following a collision in Upper Lydbrook last night, Wednesday.
A green Volkswagen Lupo travelling on the A4136 from the direction of Coleford left the road close to the Mireystock crossroads and collided with a tree at 7.30pm yesterday, Wednesday.
The passenger, a 19-year-old man from Lydbrook, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 17-year-old boy from Lydbrook, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed until 2am while officers carried out a collision investigation.
Anyone who witnessed the collision but hasn't spoken to police is urged to call 101, quoting incident 352 of June 4.
