A 16 year old year boy from the Stroud area is to stand trial at Gloucester crown court next month on a rape charge.
At Gloucester crown court today the youth, who cannot be named, made a brief preliminary hearing on the charge of raping a girl under 16.
Judge Jamie Tabor QC bailed him pending a plea and case management hearing on Friday, July 4 followed by trial on Monday, July 14.
