IT WAS a battle of the brains at Marling School on Thursday night.
Brainiacs from across the county came together to raise £2,500 for the charities Linc and the Pied Piper Appeal.
It was the sixth annual quiz night organised by WSP Solicitors and Randall & Payne Accountants and this year's quizmaster was Steve Knibbs from BBC Points West.
The SNJ entered three teams - and although none were victorious by the end of the ten rounds they were just happy not to have finished last.
The GM Allstars from Griffiths Marshall in Gloucester were the winners of the evening and each member was given a bottle of champagne.
As well as the quiz there was also a raffle, a licensed bar courtesy of Stroud Brewery and a 20" pizza for every team thanks to Fat Toni's pizza.
