Police are appealing for information about two offenders who stole of hundreds of pounds worth of alcohol from Gloucestershire shops.
The two men entered a shop in Dudbridge, Stroud, at 3pm on Wednesday, May 28, and for the next twenty minutes repeatedly took bottles of champagne. The pair entered the shop on four occasions and using a shopping basket and trolley took 12 bottles of Veuve Clicquot and Moet et Chandon champagne worth several hundred pounds.
It is believed the incident is linked a second theft which happened in a shop at Gloucester Quays outlet, St Ann Way Gloucester, at 4pm also on Wednesday, May 28. Once entering the store the offender, who was accompanied head to the alcohol aisle and stole five bottles of Grey Goose vodka, worth several hundred pounds.
Descriptions have been released as to the identities of the two men pictured. The first man was white, bald or shaven headed, around 5ft 8 in height and believed to be in his thirties. He wore dark clothing. The second man was also white, bald or shaven headed and wore dark clothing. He is believed to be in his thirties and around 5ft 10 in height.
Anyone who may recognise the two men in the pictures or may have information on the incidents is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 313 of May 28.
