PERFORMERS from all the corners of the earth descend on Malmesbury next month when WOMAD opens its gates.
The line up of has now been finalised with the addition of artists including The Jolly Boys from Jamaica, Spanish singer Chloe Bird and musician Lucinda Belle from London.
They join headliners like Soul legend Bobby Womack, African superstar Youssou N’Dour, New Zealanders Fat Freddy’s Drop and British band Public Service Broadcasting.
The four-day festival, which opens on July 24 with a special performance by Malmesbury schoolchildren, draws up to 35,000 people to Charlton Park with a programme of music, dance and food from different countries.
A children’s parade, a world of art, a People Parlour and a Hip Yak Poetry Shack also feature.
