STROUD MP Neil Carmichael has signed a pledge to continue supporting the excellent specialist heart failure service available in Gloucestershire.
Carmichael, 53, renewed his commitment at the Heart Failure Awareness Day, organised by the British Society for Heart Failure, in the House of Commons on Wednesday.
The MP hosted the event and spoke of the importance of quick diagnosis of heart failure and the role of a specialist heart failure team in good patient care.
He said: “I am very proud of the excellent specialist heart failure service we have in Gloucestershire and I will work hard to ensure that this service continues to be supported in the future.”
