COACH operator Rover European Travel has been honoured at the National Coach Tourism Awards 2014.
The Nailsworth business beat off stiff competition to win the award for Coach Tour Operator Holiday Brochure of the Year at the awards ceremony in Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom.
This is the third time in succession that Rover European has reached the final of the awards, which are organised by trade magazine Coach Monthly.
Judges were particularly taken by the way the company emphasised its long service and family-run credentials, producing a brochure that focused on the friendly and relaxed nature of their holidays.
David and Carole Hand, owners of Rover European, collected the award in front of more than 400 tourism industry professionals. They say they were absolutely thrilled about the way the award recognises their ongoing commitment to continually improve both quality and customer service.
Coach Monthly editor Stuart Render said: “Rover European was up against the best of the best coach tour operators in the country so this is therefore a well-deserved and a significant achievement.”
