Man threatens to jump from Merrywalks multi-storey car park in Stroud
POLICE are currently in attendance at the Merrywalks Shopping Centre in Stroud where it is believed a man is threatening to jump from the top car park.
The street leading to the ground floor exit - Rowcroft Retreat - is currently cordoned off.
Ambulance staff are in attendance.
A man could be seen sitting on the ledge of the top car park on the wall above Rowcroft Retreat.
Police officers were speaking to him.
Pedestrians cannot enter the top floor car park.
Update at 4pm: the situation has now been resolved.
