THE picturesque village of Eastcombe was invaded by gnomes this weekend for the annual gnome hunt.
Families were welcomed to follow the trial around the beautiful village and gardens to track down hidden gnomes.
The trial started early on Saturday morning as gnomes were being delivered to their temporary homes for the weekend by wheelbarrow.
Teas, face painting, a treasure hunt and tombola were set up at the school and Village Hall for visitors.
Organisers would like to thank those residents who opened up their gardens and allowed families to hunt for the cheeky gnomes.
Well over 350 village trail maps were sold along with about 50 cross country trail map to raise money for Eastcombe Primary School.
