A MINCHINHAMPTON boy pushed himself round five kilometres from hell for charity as part of the Mud Runner event on Saturday, June 28.
Matthew George, 11, who attends Hopelands School in Stonehouse, has raised a staggering £1,848 for two charities close to his heart.
His father Adrian suffering from autoimmune encephalitis and Matthew was raising funds for the Encephalitis Society as well as brain injury centre Headway.
The run took place at Eastnor Castle, Ledbury, Herefordshire and offers the ultimate test of endurance for runners and walkers competing against obstacles and pits of mud.
