CHANGE is here to stay.

This is one of my favourite sayings, as nothing in life really stands still.

The World is changing faster now than it ever has, but there are some that have a real fear of change.

Though they may not say anything, they still fear the slightest change.

For young people though, the changes come faster than you can perhaps remember.

Changing schools, changing friends and of course changing relationships.

Not to mention the changes of adolescence and puberty, plus for some the change of houses and even parents.

It’s not surprising then that the average teenager can often be confused and yes, want to change their minds.

Can you remember what it was like when you were younger?

Does that memory inspire you to want to bring change to the lives of young people today?

Are you prepared to make a small change in your life, in order to make a huge change for a young person that needs support?

Jesus came into the World and with him came radical change.

He drew together a team of unsuspecting Disciples and his influence changed their lives, then their lives changed the World.

The Church has changed considerably since those early days, in many the old pews have been removed and coffee bars are being installed, though one thing will never change.

Jesus is at the centre.

He still leads us.

Where is he leading you?

You may have already heard that I will soon be leaving The Door Youth Project.

What the future holds for me at present is uncertain, but one thing that I do know is that, he is leading me.

It is time for a change.

The team of Disciples at The Door are ready for this change and though they may not make huge changes in the World, they will definitely change many more young lives.

Will you help them?

Will you overcome your fears and in doing so help others to overcome theirs?
