IT WAS time for tea for Nailsworth Society members who gathered to celebrate the groups 40th anniversary on Sunday, June 22.

Over 60 members and guests enjoyed the tea party at Elizabethan manor Chavenage House, Tetbury, to pay homage to the club which has been a favourite of so many over the decades.

The 200 member strong society maintains seven individual groups covering a wide range of interests from gardening, cooking and art to rambling, history research, theatre and craft. Each group meets on a monthly basis, with details available at www.thenailsworthsociety.co.uk.
