Police are appealing for witnesses following overnight damage to a car windscreen and alleged racial abuse in Conduit Street, Gloucester.
The damage to the vehicle, a silver Vauxhall Vectra, and alleged shouts of racial abuse, were reported to police shortly after midnight.
Police are investigating the incidents and have arrested a 46 year old man on suspicion of vehicle damage and racially aggravated offences.
The Local Community Beat police team is keeping in close touch with the neighbourhood.
Anyone who has information about these incidents is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 9 of July 2.
