A MAN has pleaded not guilty to the murder of his 16-year-old pregnant girlfriend.

Aston Robinson, 18, is accused of killing Kayleigh-Anne Palmer, who was found severely injured at a house in Humber Road, Cheltenham, on Wednesday, April 2.

Kayleigh-Anne, who was five months pregnant, died several days later, at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Her unborn baby also died following the attack.

Robinson also denied a charge of the destruction of an unborn child and is due to stand trial at Bristol Crown Court on Monday, September 22.
