THE Stroud News & Journal is planning on marking the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War with a special commemorative pull-out supplement.
We are looking for stories about the people of the Stroud Valleys and Gloucestershire.
Did your great-grandfather fight at the Somme, or did your aunt work in one of the munitions factories in the South West?
Was your grandmother a nurse in France?
We particularly want to talk to those who still have photos and letters of family members during this time.
If you have any family story from the First World War that you think people should know about, get in touch. Call Sue Smith on 01453 769411 or email sue.smith@stroudnewsandjournal.co.uk
