POLICE want to trace a taxi driver who failed to stop after running over a woman's foot as he pulled away from her.
The incident happened at about 3.30am on Friday, July 4 2014, opposite the Queen's Hotel in Cheltenham.
The victim and her two friends were standing at the junction of The Promenade and Queen's Circus, when they flagged down a taxi and asked the driver for a price to take them to Gloucester.
When they decided not to accept, the driver pulled away and went over the victim's foot as he did so. Her friend alerted the driver, but said that he just drove off.
The injured woman suffered bruising to her foot and had to have her toe nail removed.
The three have been unable to give police any details about the car other than it was silver-coloured, but said the driver gave his name as Raj.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 195 of 5/7/14.
