A WATER company is investing more than £350,000 on installing new water pipes in Eastington.
The work by Severn Trent Water, which started on Friday, will help to make pipes in the area more secure, preventing leaks and bursts.
Programme manager Jonathan Tait said: “A lot of the pipes have been serving the community for many years. This means they’ve become old and prone to bursts, which can interrupt water supply. We’re laying around two km of new pipes to replace the old ones.”
