POLICE Officers in Tewkesbury conducted a drugs warrant in Perry Hill, Tewkesbury on Wednesday 9 July and recovered nearly a kilo of cannabis that police currently estimate at approximately £6000 - £7000.
A male and female have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class B drug and have been bailed for further enquiries to be made.
PC Adam Chalkley, a newly appointed member of Tewkesbury Safer Community Team, said “ This was my first drugs operation and is a great result for the community team. I will be working closely with Tewkesbury’s pro-active team on 'Op Tudor' and with their continued assistance and that of the local community I hope for many more positive results “
