A TEENAGE cyclist who molested a 26-year-old woman as she walked home through a Cheltenham park is being sought by police.

The victim had just left work at about 3pm on Monday, July 14 and was walking down Pittville Lawn when she noticed a boy on a bike following her. He wolf-whistled at her and although she ignored him, he continued to ride after her through Pittville Park, past the ice cream hut to the traffic lights on Central Cross Drive.

After crossing Evesham Road into West Drive, she tried to walk away from him and called her boyfriend on her mobile phone. But the cyclist continued after her, twice grabbing her bottom and once squeezing her right breast. At this point, the woman called 999. Hearing her ask for the police, the boy sped off on his bike back towards the park.

The teenager is described as white, aged about 14, skinny and about 5ft 5ins tall. He had short dark-brown, almost black hair which was swept across his forehead and quite greasy with a curl at the end. He wore a dark-blue polo shirt and trousers and white trainers. His bike was electric blue in colour.

Anyone who recognises the offender from this description or has any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 269 of 14/7/14.
