A CAR smashed into the footbridge next to McDonald's in Cirencester on the weekend.
All three emergency services attended the scene at Cricklade Road on Saturday, July 19 at 12.45pm.
Two vehicles, a black Suzuki Ignis from Warwickshire and a Peugeot 206 from Cheltenham were involved in the crash.
The Peugeot smashed into the bridge and the female driver suffered bruising caused by her seat belt.
One lane of the road was closed but re-opened by 2pm.
The woman received minor injuries.
