A SERIOUS crash involving a car and a pedestrian happened yesterday on a busy Devizes road.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after the black Vauxhall Corsa was in collision with a man on the A361 close to the junction for Foxhangers Marina.
The incident happened at about 10.30pm on Tuesday, July 22.
A 49-year-old man from Westbury was taken to Southmead Hospital, Bristol. He remains in a serious but stable condition.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them immediately.
Police would also like to speak to anyone who saw a man walking close to the A361 or the black Vauxhall Corsa immediately before the collision.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
