THE early Years Team at Parliament Children’s Centre decided to hold a Teddy Bear’s Picnic as part of their end of year celebration.
Many families whose children attend the nursery responded to the invitation and enjoyed spending time together eating food and celebrating their children’s achievements.
The nursery received a “good” rating from Ofsted at the end of April which they are very proud of.
“Provision is good because staff place a strong emphasis on the development of each individual child.”
The nursery also became part of the Hill Valley and Vale group of children’s centres a year ago.
A separate room was created for 2 to 3-year-olds with the 3 to 4 year olds now being based with the reception children in an early years unit at Severnview Academy school on the same site.
The school too recently received a “good” rating from Ofsted. Although lots of parents have already signed up for their children to start in September, there are still spaces in both rooms.
