A 33-YEAR-OLD carer who allegedly stole around £130,000 from two elderly women who have both since died will stand trial at Gloucester Crown Court, a judge ruled on Friday.
Emma Carter, of Lanham Gardens, Quedgeley, has denied stealing £84,000 from Andree Embrey and £45,700 from Eunice Isles between January 2010 and January 2013.
A four to five day trial – with 28 possible witnesses – will be held at a date to be fixed.
Carter did not appear at the hearing.
