DAVID Drew’s campaign to regain his seat in Westminster next year got off to a strong start.
More than 150 people came through the door of Stonehouse Community Centre to pledge their support for the campaign to get David Drew elected as MP for Stroud once again.
“So many people said to me that we need David back,” said Dick Greenslade, chairman of Stroud Labour.
“We collected a large number of promises to support David.”
Mr Drew lost his seat to Conservative Neil Carmichael in 2010, after representing the Stroud constituency for 13 years. Support by visiting the office in Lansdown.
