CROFT Primary School in Painswick hosted a talent competition to raise money and support for Cancer Research UK.

On Wednesday, July 16, Year 6 pupils oversaw the Croft Factor.

Children volunteered to organise it independently, creating advertisements, selling popcorn and collecting donations.

Participants entertained families and friends with a variety of acts, including comedy sketches, ukulele performances and dance routines.

Pupil Eloise Little, aged nine, won the contest for her solo performance of Idina Menzel’s Let It Go from the Disney film Frozen.

Each participant was presented with a certificate, printed by the organisers, who also provided second and third place trophies.

The children could chose the charity of their choice and opted for Cancer Research UK.
