CHILDREN enjoyed a cool reward for their hard work when a wet play afternoon was held on one of the hottest days of the year.
Whenever pupils at Brimscombe Primary School collectively earn a total of 5,000 team points for their learning, teachers organise a treat. Just before the end of term, the school got a soaking during the fun afternoon held on Thursday, July17. Activities included giant bubble blowing, a slip and slide chute, a splash and sprinkler zone and a water fight area.
Staff led by head Karen Riordan even ran a gauntlet of water pistols and wet sponges.
