Fairford flower group meet baking star Mary Berry
DELIGHTED members of Friends of Fairford Church and the Flower Team enjoyed a cup of tea and a slice of lemon drizzle cake made by baking queen Mary Berry herself during a group outing.
Geoff Hawkes and Heather Gorton organised a day out to Dorchester Abbey, Ewelme Church and Mary Berry's garden.
When the group arrived, they were shocked to meet the chef who came out to greet them and served them a portion of her homemade cake.
Group members have said a huge thank you to the organisers of the trip.
