A MAN who bit off part of another man’s ear failed to attend two sessions of unpaid work imposed as part his sentence, a court heard.
Builder Steven Fletcher, aged 28, of Devereaux Crescent, Stroud, admitted he had failed to attend sessions of his community order on May 18 and June 1 at a hearing at Gloucester Crown Court yesterday, Tuesday.
He admitted a breach of the terms of the sentence he received for unlawfully wounding David Barnes by biting his ear.
Judge Jamie Tabor QC sentenced Fletcher to do an extra 7 hours unpaid work – warning him that it was all that stood between him and going to prison.
