POLICE in Coleford have issued an e-fit image of a man they want to talk to in connection with the theft of a wallet from a man's car.

The victim was working on his red Ford Fiesta outside his home in Bowens Hill Road between 2pm and 4pm on Friday, July 11 when a man approached him and asked if he could fill an empty water bottle for him.

The victim went into his house leaving his vehicle unattended and the offender stole a wallet, containing several hundred pounds, from inside the car.

The thief is described as white, 5ft 6ins, medium build, in his 20s or 30s, wearing jeans or combat trousers and smelling of cigarettes.

Anyone who recognises the man in the e-fit image should call 101 straight away, quoting incident 316 of July 13.
