POLICE investigating a burglary at a house in Cheltenham have released CCTV images from a nearby shop of a man that they are keen to speak to.

The incident happened at a property on Salisbury Avenue between 12pm and 2pm on Tuesday August 12.

The offender approached the victim’s home and offered to carry out work on his home. The victim and the offender agreed that the man would clean his gutters and garden. While he was carrying out this work, the offender entered the victim’s home and stole steel kitchen pots and pans and around £20 cash.

The offender is described as white, male and around 23-years-old. He was wearing a blue t-shirt and blue jeans.

The images are from a post-office within a nearby Co-Op store on Salisbury Avenue. If anyone recognises those images or has information on the incident please call Gloucestershire Police on 101 quoting incident number 210 of August 12.
