WOULD-BE shepherds gathered for the start of a two-week Sheep Trail at Bisley WI Village Hall on Saturday.
Thirty families flocked to the opening of the 2014 event, helping to raise around £70.
Maps are now available from George Stores in the High Street, with the trail running until the flower show and fete on Saturday, August 30.
Peter Thorp, church warden of All Saints Church and organiser of the Sheep Trail, said: “I’ve seen lots of youngsters going around the village on the trail already, and now we’re hoping for good weather on the fete day.”
The sheep have been hidden all around the village, and everyone who finds the animals and correctly answers a series of questions will be entered into a draw, with the top prize being £50.
The winner will be announced by the Rev Rosie Woodall at a special Marquee Cafe Church Service on Sunday, August 31 at 11am.
All proceeds from the trail will go towards the upkeep of All Saints Church.
