STROUD Fringe Festival returns on Friday with a weekend of free music in and around town.
To ensure the safety of revellers and residents, roads will be temporarily closed, from Friday, August 29, to Sunday, August 31.
Gloucester Street and Lansdown will be closed on Friday from 2pm until 11pm, Saturday from 10.30am to 11pm and Sunday from noon until 10pm.
Parking alongside the Bank Gardens is also suspended over the weekend.
The festival sees performances from Stroud folk rockers The Outcast Band, vintage dance combo Steve and The Achievers and big beat ska, funk and hip-hop band Largo Embargo.
Other acts to perform include Stroud’s own Four Mile Horse and Cheltenham-based Small Talk Robot.
