CYCLISTS are being urged to saddle up for the Tour de Stroud.
The 30 mile cycle ride on Saturday is in aid of Stroud-based charity Allsorts, which supports families who have children with disabilities or learning difficulties.
Starting and finishing at Stratford Park, the ride will travel through Standish, Stonehouse, Epney and Ebley.
Organiser Nikki Michael says it suitable for everyone.
“We wanted to create a ride that the whole family can enjoy,” she said.
It costs £5 to register for the ride and cyclists are being encouraged to raise £50 in sponsorship. Children are 16 will be charged £3.
The charity will also be holding a family festival in Stratford Park bandstand on from 11am until 3pm.
Entry is free and there will be a bar, barbecue, children’s activities and live music.
