THREE short films created by members of the Pauline Quirke Academy in Stroud have been selected to be screened as part of this year’s PQA and Empire Cinemas Film Festival in Leicester Square on Sunday.
The PQA is a performing arts school for children between four and 18. Students devise and script their short films, before embarking on location scouting and rehearsals, then shooting.
The judges said they were particularly impressed with PQA Stroud, and cannot wait to see A Very Short Circuit, Horrible Henrietta and A Wonder in Alice Land on the big screen.
