VANDALS smashed the windows of 19 cars and properties across the district at the weekend - causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.
The car vandalism took place overnight between 19 and 21 September in Downington , Lechlade, High Street Kempsford, Silver Street South Cerney, Nursery View and The Common, Siddington.
And between Friday 19 September and Saturday 20 September, windows of a Siddington pub and a property on Nursery View Siddington, were smashed.
On the same evening a window in Upper Up, South Cerney and a car window in Berkeley Close, South Cerney were also smashed.
Police believe the incidents are all connected.
Investigating Officer PC Simon Laird said: "‘We would be grateful for any information that will lead to the arrests of those involved in these 23 incidents. However, I should stress that normally this area is extremely peaceful and this is very unusual.”
