TOUCHING floral tributes were left for Stroud stalwart Eddie King at Cheltenham crematorium, where his funeral took place yesterday, Thursday.
Known to many as Big Eddie, the former Stratford Park icon, skating and judo coach passed away last month aged 59.
One heartfelt tribute from the parents and children of Stratford Park Skating Club said: “Eddie, you will be sadly missed but always remembered with a smile.”
A collection box to fund a commemorative bench in memory of Eddie has been started by staff at Stratford Park Leisure Centre. Donations can be made at reception.
