Join us for the next Cotswold AONB Warden’s Walk at 10am on Sunday, October 26 and walk 10 miles from Uley village green to Kingscote Woods and back to the starting point. Join us for Stonehouse Health Walks which take place from 10.15am at Stonehouse community centre every Tuesday morning. Walks last up to one hour and this is an excellent way to keep fit and make new friends. The Pop In is open for coffee at the end of the walk. There are a number of walks around Stonehouse and leaflets giving details are available from the town council.

Short Mat Bowling Club at the Douglas Morley Hall is open to all interested bowls players. They meet every Tuesday and Friday afternoons between 2pm and 4.30pm. Come along and give it a go free of charge for the first two sessions. Equipment will be provided but flat soled shoes must be worn. Hats for seamen - many people have been knitting hats and balaclavas for seamen which are sent off to the depot in Bristol.

If you would like to join in the efforts for seamen hats can be left in the town hall.

Singing for the brain has been set up by the Alzheimer’s Society and sessions are held at Stonehouse Community Centre on Tuesday afternoons.
