FIREWORKS night is just around the corner and to mark the event, we have gathered together a list of the most explosive events we could find across the Cotswolds and North Wiltshire.

A STRATTON fireworks night, organised by Stratton Primary School's PTA is being held at the school in Stratton, Cirencester on Saturday, November 8 at 6.15pm.

KEMBLE Primary School is hosting a fireworks display on Saturday, November 8 at 5.30pm. There will be a barbeque, bar and more including a mini childrens disco all under the cover of a marquee. Advance tickets are on sale now from Kemble Primary School or Kemble Post Office Stores: Family (2 adults and upto 3 children) £9.50, Adults £3.00, Children £2.00. Tickets are available on the gate: Family £12.00, Adults 4.00 and Children £3.00. All proceeds towards a new IT suite for the children.

A FAIRFORD fireworks show is on Saturday, November 8 in Fairford Park. Gates open at 6pm with the bonfire being lit at 6.30pm and the fireworks beginning at 7pm. Tickets are £4 for adults and £3 for children or £12 for a family ticket. Tickets are available from Enntwine, 7A Coffee Shop and Fairford Primary School.

QUENINGTON Bonfire and Firework Night is on Wednesday, November 5 at Godwin’s Field. Parking is available on the Green. Gates open at 6.15pm and the firework display starts at 7.15pm. Hot and cold drinks and hotdogs will be available. Entry is free, but donations to Quenington Bulldog will be collected at the gate.

MORETON'S Fire Service College is hosting a free bonfire and fireworks display in conjunction with the College's Mess Club on Thursday, November 6. Gates open at 6pm, a Guy Fawkes competition is at 6.45pm and the bonfire will be lit at 7pm. The display starts at 7.30pm. Entry is free but donations to local charities welcome. Hot food and drinks and fairground rides also available.

A SHERSTON bonfire party is at Lordswood Farm on Friday, November 7. Organised by The Beaufort Hunt, the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and fireworks begin at 7pm. A bar and a barbecue will be available. Email secretary@beauforthunt.com for more.

A TETBURY school is hosting a fireworks display on Saturday, November 8. The display, at Sir William Romney's School, will feature a best Guy competition with a £10 prize, which is being judged at 6.30pm when the bonfire is lit. Admission is £5 adults and £2.50 for children and pensioners. Refreshments will be on sale and gates open at 6pm.

ASHTON KEYNES Bonfire Night is on Saturday, November 8 on Bradstone Playing Field.There will be a barbecue, bar, Big Brunch Band, bonfire, fireworks and more. Pre-booked tickets cost £6 adults, £4 children, £15 family or on the gate £8 adults, £6 children, £20 family. Tickets are available from Ashton Keynes Primary School, CBSlade on the High Street in Cricklade and The Village Shop in Ashton Keynes.

A CRICKLADE bonfire night will take place on November 5 at Cricklade Cricket Ground on Abingdon Court Lane starting at 7.30pm.

SHERSTON is hosting a fireworks display on Saturday, November 8 at Lower Farm, Easton Town, Sherston. The event starts at 6.30pm and family tickets are £12 in advance from Sherston Post Office Stores. No sparklers allowed. Hot soup, soft drinks and barbecue organised. All proceeds to senior citizens Christmas vouchers.

Police in Gloucestershire are urging people to have a great time while still keeping safe this fireworks night.

"Vulnerable people can be seriously upset by fireworks let off in the wrong place," said harm reduction advisor David McFarlane.

"We will be mounting additional high visibility patrols to deter anti social behaviour and will take action against anyone involved in nuisance activities."

"Whilst we want people to have a really enjoyable time during bonfire night, it is vital that people behave responsibly and sensibly in their neighbourhoods and avoid upsetting local residents."
