A MAN was arrested in connection with a stabbing in St Paul's, Cheltenham overnight.
Police were called to a dispute between two men on St Paul's Street North shortly before 12.45am today (Tuesday).
A 33-year-old man had suffered a puncture wound to his shoulder and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in a stable condition.
A 22-year-old Cheltenham man was arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody this morning.
Anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident 11 of November 4.
